What this service does
Social Studio lets McAlpine ICT and its clients schedule and publish posts to social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky) on behalf of account owners who have connected their accounts.
What we collect
- Account details the platform shares when you connect: account ID, name, handle and profile picture.
- Access tokens issued by the platform, stored encrypted, used only to publish posts you or your agency have scheduled and to show which account is connected.
- The posts, captions, images and videos prepared for publishing.
We do not collect your social media passwords, read your private messages, or collect information about your followers.
How we use it
Only to publish and show the status of scheduled posts. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Captions may be drafted with an AI model (Anthropic's Claude, via Cloudflare); only the brief and brand notes entered in Social Studio are sent for that.
Where it is stored
On Cloudflare's infrastructure (Workers, D1 and R2), encrypted in transit and at rest.
Retention and deletion
Tokens are deleted as soon as an account is disconnected. Posts and media are kept while the client relationship continues and deleted on request. See data deletion.
